Size Guide:
As a general guide, your artwork should cover around 60% to 75% of the wall space. This helps it feel present without crowding the room.
If you're hanging art above furniture, aim for the piece to be about two-thirds to three-quarters of the width of what's below. This keeps everything visually connected.
It's also worth considering color - choose tones that complement your space to create a cohesive, effortless look.
If you're unsure, try marking out sizes with masking tape on your wall. Live with it for a day or two - it's the easiest way to see what feels right.
These are just guidelines - always choose what feels right for your space.

E
I love the overlapping ivory and cream shapes in this neutral abstract painting. The subtle beige undertones bring warmth, while the darker marks add definition without overwhelming the light composition.
J
The broad paint ridges and scraped lines give this textured abstract wall art plenty of character. Even with a restrained palette, there are interesting details throughout the composition.
O
The wide format suits the arrangement of layered blocks beautifully. This horizontal abstract art would make an elegant focal point above a sofa, especially with linen upholstery and natural wood furniture.
D
The cream, pale gray, and warm taupe colors work beautifully together. I particularly like the small brown passages between the white layers, which give this contemporary abstract painting depth.
C
We searched for something unique and artistic, and this painting was exactly the style we wanted.
R
The beige and soft colors work perfectly with our furniture. The texture adds just enough contrast.
F
The photos looked beautiful, but seeing the actual texture in person was even more impressive.
M
The quality of the painting exceeded my expectations. It feels carefully created and professionally finished.
I
The artwork creates a relaxing feeling above our bed. It makes the bedroom feel much more complete.
D
The raised paint changes depending on where you stand and how the light hits it. It never looks completely flat.
N
The shape and size fit beautifully above our entryway console. It gives the space much more personality.
O
The visible palette-knife marks and brushstrokes make the painting feel like a genuine piece of art rather than ordinary decoration.
C
The surface has visible brushwork, which makes it feel far more special than a print. The handmade finish makes it feel different from ordinary printed wall art. I am glad I chose this artwork.
R
This canvas gives the room a more collected and personal feeling. It pairs well with natural wood, beige upholstery, and warm evening lighting. It is now one of my favorite details in the room.
E
From a distance the composition looks balanced, and up close there are many small textured details to appreciate.
A
The canvas is stretched evenly, the frame sits neatly, and the paint has excellent depth and consistency.
E
The painting gives our dining room a calm gallery feeling. The neutral tones work beautifully with wood furniture, and the thick texture adds a lot of character without feeling too busy.
L
We hung this above our bed and it instantly made the room feel warmer and more finished. The handmade details are very noticeable up close. Shipping was also well protected.
L
This painting added exactly the warmth and texture our living room was missing. It looks stunning every day.
J
The quality is much better than I expected. The paint has real dimension, and the surface looks rich and layered. It gives the wall a beautiful designer look.
J
The texture is thick but tasteful, not messy. You can tell it was painted by hand with care. It arrived safely and was ready to hang.
M
I spent a long time looking for real hand-painted wall art, and this one was worth it. The canvas has beautiful texture, the frame is solid, and the whole piece feels premium.

“I build each painting slowly, allowing texture, silence, and restrained color to reveal the quiet strength hidden within the landscape.”
Chen Huang
About The Artist
Chen Huang is a contemporary texture painter from Hangzhou, China, whose work is shaped by the calm atmosphere of lakes, mist-covered mountains, and the understated beauty of traditional Chinese landscapes. Using palette knives, brushes, and layered impasto techniques, he creates tactile surfaces that feel both minimal and deeply expressive.
His paintings often combine soft neutral tones with subtle contrasts, allowing light and texture to become the main visual language. Rather than depicting a landscape literally, Chen focuses on its mood—stillness, distance, changing weather, and the emotional space between forms. His work brings a quiet, meditative presence to modern interiors while preserving a strong sense of natural rhythm and balance.
