Black and Cream Geometric Oil Painting | Curved Blocks Striped Shapes and Textured Marks Vertical Abstract Wall Art #OA 1747

About this art：“Curves in a Quiet Rhythm”

Black curved blocks, striped forms and broken marks are arranged across a warm cream canvas. A large dark oval enters from the top, while a hooked black shape occupies the upper right. A long striped curve descends through the center, meeting a mottled dark form near the bottom. A pale white curve on the right provides a quieter counterweight. The vertical composition gives these separate elements space to relate without becoming a repeated pattern.

Each shape offers a different kind of surface. Solid black areas feel steady and weighty; narrow lines introduce motion; broken marks create a more irregular rhythm. The cream ground remains visible between the forms, allowing their edges to stay clear. This combination gives the painting a graphic presence while preserving the character of painted marks. Its restrained palette makes the changes in texture and curve more noticeable than they would be among many colors.

Curves in a Quiet Rhythm works with black furniture accents, pale upholstery, oak and neutral woven fabrics. A living room, office or entryway can give the tall arrangement a clear setting. It can also sit beside shelving if enough open wall surrounds the frame. Choose a few simple nearby objects rather than several small patterned accessories, allowing the solid areas and fine stripes to provide the main visual contrast.

When choosing a placement, consider the view from the doorway as well as from your usual seat. Clear space around the frame helps the complete composition remain easy to appreciate throughout the day.

This artwork is created as a 100% hand-painted oil painting on canvas, not a print. Painted color, brushwork and the physical surface are part of its character. Each canvas is made by hand, so individual marks, small tonal transitions and fine details vary naturally from the reference. These differences reflect the making process while preserving the overall subject, composition and palette. The result is a painting intended to be experienced in person, where changing light can reveal aspects of the surface that a single photograph cannot fully describe.

Choose a listed size that suits your wall, or contact us about a custom size before ordering. Measure the available wall and the furniture beneath it to establish a comfortable visual proportion. Lifestyle photographs illustrate possible settings and scale; the selected variant determines the dimensions of the painting supplied. The artwork's original composition and proportions guide the presentation. For a custom project, you can share your wall measurements and surrounding colors so the available options can be considered in relation to your room.

Wood frames, aluminum frames and an unframed option are available through the product selections. Choose the frame and size combination that fits your plans, and check the details of that variant before ordering. Warm wood can connect the painting to oak or walnut furniture, while a restrained metal finish can suit a contemporary interior. We provide photos and videos of the completed painting for your approval before shipment. This gives you a chance to review the actual handmade work rather than relying only on the reference image.
